My name is Theo Schütz. I’m from Berlin, Germany, and passionately develop helpful apps which people can use on a day-to-day basis without getting bored of them.
While developing apps in my spare time, I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management at the highly recommendable university unibz. Currently, I’m in the middle of my Master’s program in Information Systems at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, while working full-time as an analyst and project manager of a mobile application.
The combination of the two areas economics & IT has already prepared myself with a broad skill set to work as a software developer, IT business analyst and consultant keeping both perspectives under close supervision: the IT development side as well as the profitability and cost-effectiveness of a project.
If you use one or more of my personal apps and want me to change certain things to enhance their performance, just send me an email. I’m happy to get back to you.
If you’re also working on a project and need some assistance, don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’m always looking for new challenges! 🚀
Schütz Development is just the working business name. I don’t really like the name and the German “Umlaut” (ü) which is actually part of my name. Internationally, the letter ü is translated into ue – that’s why, for instance, my website is theoschuetz.de.
Anyway, I definitely have to work on my business name! I’m still quite happy with my logo. Schütz or the German word Schütze means archer/bowman/shooter (with bow and arrow). The goal of an archer is to hit a target as accurately as possible. With my apps I’m trying to solve (small) problems the same way – as impactfully as possible. The logo shows bow and arrow pointing at the center of a target.
